I enjoy Tron. The original movie is slow, doesn’t hold up to today’s CG, but it’s still a fun movie. That said, I’m REALLY looking forward to Tron Legacy. It looks amazing (cept for CG Bridges lips not moving right, but technology is working on that, no doubt).
What I’m also REALLY looking forward to is the soundtrack. I haven’t heard much Daft Punk, but what I’ve heard I dig.

The Old Spice Guy
Iaiah Mustafa may be a name you don’t recognize, but you know what he looks like. The handsome, suave betoweled man has been killing the airwaves with his sultry gaze for months, pimping Old Spice. What’s he been up to lately? I’m glad you asked. He’s been steaming up the interwebs, taking a single, manly day to respond to tweets via YouTube.
Really? Yes. Want to know how it was done? Of course you do.
The level of quality of the videos is surprising, since it was done in somewhat real time. But the shooting, editing, and acting isn’t the most impressive part. It’s the writing. Over 80 videos crafted, each a piece of awesome filled with quotes that will stick in your brain: Monocle Smile! Ever since the Bruce Campbell Old Spice commercials (Here and Here) I’ve felt their add department deserves awards, raises, and their own special case of unobtainium. Never mind the fact that the commercials are genius, they’re more viral than a Dr. Who themed lolcat dipped hand crafted from Dr. Tran, lovingly brought of the funny womb by NPH.

Ok, I realize this flick isn’t in theaters anymore (unless your town rocks and has a dollar theater), but it was a fun movie. I really suggest you check it out. But I want you guys to know that I won’t make jokes or reviews trashing something just because it’ll make you laugh. Oh, we’ll make jokes, but not at the expense of the trust established between you guys and ourselves. However, not everyone else shares this responsibility.

Pay careful attention to this portion of the article:
The Little Britain star was devastated when his former partner, Kevin McGee, was found hanged at his Edinburgh, Scotland apartment in October. The couple tied the knot in a civil partnership in 2006 before parting ways in 2008.
Notice anything in particular bad taste? After describing that his husband was found hanging, they refer to their earlier wedding as having “tied the knot“. Now, I know that’s a popular colloquialism, but using it in the article at all? Especially the next sentence? Ugh. That went from the writer to the editor to possible a few other people, and now one noticed. Maybe it’s because I have a twisted sense of humor. But after showing it to a few other people, they saw it immediately as well. I am sorry for the trouble that has befallen the talented Matt Lucas. I loved him in Kröd Mändoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire. And I’m very sorry for his loss.
To the media: there should be some sort of respect that is kept by those reporting the news.
